Shivangi Singh is a Production designer, Set designer and Art director specializing in cinematic world-building, spatial storytelling, and immersive environment design across film, theatre, performing arts, themed entertainment, exhibitions, and emerging technologies(AR/VR/Games). With over 15 years of professional experience spanning North America and India, she brings a multidisciplinary approach that bridges narrative, architecture, and visual experience.
She holds an MS in Spatial Experience Design from renowned design school, Art Center College of Design in California and an MFA in Design & Production, focusing on film, theatre and performing arts from the University of British Columbia, Vancouver. Her work spans feature films, streaming productions, commercials, live performance, theme parks, cultural institutions, and public art exhibitions, collaborating with major studios, production houses, design firms, and arts organizations.
Based in Vancouver, she continues her design practice-integrating physical builds with emerging technologies to create meaningful, human-centered experiences for media productions. Shivangi also teaches and mentors future generation of production designers at Vancouver Film School and InFocus Film School. She is a member of the Art Directors Guild, USA (IATSE Local 800) and the Association of Art Directors, Mumbai.
